The Seminar on Adventist Identity for pastors and workers of the Sarawak Mission was successfully held on 4 June 2026 at the Kuching English Church. The program brought together church leaders and workers for a meaningful time of learning, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

The seminar was enriched through the presentations of experienced church leaders, namely Pastor Felixian Felicitas, Field Secretary of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD), and Pastor Nelson Bendah, Executive Secretary of the Malaysia Union Mission (MAUM). Their messages provided clear biblical insights and practical encouragement on the importance of understanding and upholding Adventist identity in today’s world. Pastor Felixian also quoted that our Adventist identity is integral, if not vital to the very existence of the Adventist Church. Our mission and ministry are shaped and propelled by our identity.
Through the sessions, participants were reminded of the calling of the Seventh-day Adventist Church to remain rooted in Scripture, faithful to God’s mission, and consistent in living out its distinctive beliefs. The messages encouraged pastors and workers to continue serving with clarity, conviction, and dedication in their ministries.

The seminar also served as a valuable time of spiritual renewal and unity among church leaders across the Sarawak Mission. It strengthened fellowship and reaffirmed a shared commitment to the mission of spreading the gospel and preparing people for Christ’s soon return.

In conclusion, the Seminar on Adventist Identity was a meaningful and Spirit-led gathering that reinforced the importance of remaining faithful to God’s truth and calling. We thank God for His presence, guidance, and blessings throughout the program. May all pastors and workers continue to grow in faith, stand firm in their Adventist identity, and serve faithfully as they carry forward the mission of the church.
