17 people gave their lives to Christ through baptism.

From 1–6 September 2025, Stadium Julau became a place of joy and worship as the Central Region Sarawak Harvest 2025 Evangelism Celebration took place. Churches from Ejit, Ejit B, Luau, Sangkong, Julau Centre, Kapit, Sarikei, Sibu, Sibu Jaya, Roban, Lijan, Bekiok, Merurun, and Nanga Ayam gathered together for this special event. It was a week filled with prayer, singing, preaching, and fellowship.

The main speaker, Pr. Rudi Situmorang, Ministerial Secretary of SSD, shared powerful messages from God’s Word. He reminded everyone that the choice of salvation is personal. He said, “The choice for salvation is not in the hands of others, but in ourselves who can make the choice, the choice to receive salvation from God or death in sin.” These words touched many hearts and encouraged people to think deeply about their walk with God.

The program was led by Pr. Andrew Ganya, Field Secretary and Ministerial Secretary of Sarawak Mission, together with several dedicated pastors including Pr. Semilee Tajau president of Sarawak Mission , Pr. Chan Tin Loi ,Pr. Ham Diyon, Pr. Rony Latip, Pr. Delkenz, Pr. Sebon Manding, and Pr. Jwenson Vive. Ministerial students Glen Jimbai, Jaswel Jawie, Gibson Sumbang, Wisely, and Steeve Ton also took part actively. Hope Media, led by Belden Suboh, helped to cover and support the event.

Every evening, about 200 people attended the program, listening to messages of hope and encouragement. On Sabbath, the number of attendees grew to 548, filling the stadium with songs of praise and worship. The unity of the churches and the warmth of fellowship could be felt throughout the week.

The most joyful moment came when 17 people gave their lives to Christ through baptism. This was the true harvest of the celebration, souls won for the kingdom of God. The event ended with hearts full of gratitude and a stronger commitment to continue the mission. Truly, the Julau Harvest 2025 was a week to remember.

In conclusion, the Harvest Celebration in Julau showed how God can work through His people when they come together in faith and unity. The messages preached, the songs lifted, and the decisions made for Christ will continue to inspire the churches long after the event. It was not just a program, but a reminder that the mission is ongoing, and the harvest is still plenty.
