The Seventh-Day Adventist Mission of Sarawak host the highly anticipated Impact Sarawak Evangelism 2024 from December 16 to 20, spanning the districts of Serian, Tebedu, Mongkos, and Balai-Ringin. During this powerful event, dedicated pastors, elders, and lay missional will deliver inspiring messages of faith, hope, and salvation across 34 villages and churches, engaging communities and sharing the life-changing gospel. This collaborative effort aims not only to inspire spiritual growth and renewal but also to strengthen the bonds within local communities, as believers come together in unity to embrace the message of God’s love and prepare for His purpose in their lives, spreading hope and transforming lives throughout Sarawak.
The Impact Sarawak Evangelism 2024 event will feature various districts and their assigned speakers: The Baki Ensengei District, led by Pr. Justin Raymond Aling, will have speakers including Pr. Ham Diyon, Iliphsonlie Maing, Pr. Cliff Bidi, Elder Dickson Francis, Pr. Andrew Ganya, Pr. Justin Raymond Aling, and Tajan Kayo. The Baki-Riih District, led by Pr. Sebon Manding, will feature Pr. Lawrence Banyie, Pr. Willie Rojo, Pr. Delkenz David, Pr. Terry Valten Simon, LM. Thompson, and Pr. Eric Sanjay and Allen Masiar. The Serian District, led by Pr. Kenny Lapok, will have speakers Ostine Tayo, Pr. Edmund Liah, Yvonne Jabeng, Pr. Sebon Manding, Pr. Kenny Lapok, and Pr. Francis Amer. The Tebedu District, led by Pr. Adam Akiw and Pr. Grres, will include Rudy Lingga, Isaiah Jyclover, Brendon Moore, Dylan Wira, Elder Julian Francis, and Timothy Russel. The Mongkos-Tebakang District, led by Pr. Grres, will have Pr. Joggery Gelu, Pr. Jenky Suwe, Pr. Henny Nilos, Pr. Grres, Pr. Bernard Galim, and Pr. Rony Latip. Finally, the Balai-Ringin District, led by Pr. Megau Jeng, will feature Pr. Chan Tin Loi, Pr. Deshay Rach Elvis, and Pr. Petrus Tundor.
Pr. Francis Amer, the Vice President for the Nurture Discipleship and Retention – Integrated Evangelism Lifestyle (NDR-IEL) department of the Malaysia Adventist Union Mission, served as the guest speaker on Sabbath day during the Impact Sarawak Evangelism 2024 event. Pr Francis Amer also stated that “Jesus wants to lead you, but you must allow Him to change your heart” emphasizes the importance of surrendering to Jesus’ guidance and allowing His transformative power to work within us.
Additionally, a special Pastors’ Appreciation Ceremony was held during the Impact Sarawak Evangelism 2024, recognizing the invaluable contributions of the pastors who dedicated their time and energy to the event. As a heartfelt token of gratitude, gifts were prepared and presented by Pr. Semilee Tajau, the President of the Seventh-Day Adventist Mission of Sarawak, for every pastor who attended, honoring their commitment to spreading the message of faith and love across Sarawak. These thoughtful gifts symbolized the church’s deep appreciation for the pastors’ unwavering dedication and tireless service to their communities. This ceremony also served as a reminder of the importance of supporting and uplifting those who lead the church, ensuring they feel valued and motivated in their spiritual mission.
During the Impact Sarawak Evangelism 2024 event, 132 souls made the life-changing decision to be baptized. The Impact Sarawak Evangelism 2024 event witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with 800 guests attending across the districts of Serian, Tebedu, Mongkos, and Semukoi, reflecting the community’s strong commitment to spiritual growth and fellowship.
This collaborative effort aims not only to inspire spiritual growth and renewal but also to strengthen the bonds within local communities, as believers come together in unity to embrace the message of God’s love and prepare for His purpose in their lives, spreading hope and transforming lives throughout Sarawak. Following the event, a heartwarming potluck was held, bringing together attendees to share meals, fellowship, and celebrate the blessings of the evangelistic journey.
