The expo was organised by the Health Ministries in collaboration with Adventist Community Services, supported by 100 dedicated volunteers.
The final Health Expo for 2025 was held successfully at Emart Batu Kawa on 2 November, from 10 AM to 3 PM. The event brought together organisers, volunteers, and visitors for a meaningful community health programme. Many people from the surrounding area came to learn more about healthy living and enjoy the services provided.
The expo was organised by the Health Ministries in collaboration with Adventist Community Services, supported by 100 dedicated volunteers. They served in various stations such as registration, ushering, and counselling. These volunteers came from different professional backgrounds, both medical and non-medical, and even included trained students who were eager to help.
A major highlight of the event was the 8-member team from Klinik Pergigian Batu Kawa. They provided free dental services, offering valuable care to the community. Their presence added great value to the programme and was appreciated by many visitors.
Besides dental care and health screening, the expo also featured several exciting and educational stations. There were cooking demonstrations, chair back massages, hydrotherapy sessions, and charobic activities. Each station helped participants discover simple and practical ways to improve their daily health habits.
In conclusion, the Health Expo was a meaningful success, with 160 people receiving free health screenings and benefiting from the activities prepared. The organisers and volunteers worked together with great teamwork and dedication. A special thank you goes to Dr. Jane Yap for joining again and supporting the event. The community was truly blessed with knowledge, care, and service, making this year’s final expo a memorable one.
