The program was supported by more than 30 dedicated teachers and helpers.
From September 8 to 13, 2025, the Bintulu Seventh-day Adventist Church was filled with cheerful voices and bright smiles as children gathered for the Bintulu Region Children Evangelism 2025. Each evening, about 65 children came, and on Sabbath the number grew to 84. The program was more than just a meeting, it was a week where children laughed, sang, prayed, and discovered how wonderful life can be when health and faith come together.

Guided by Mdm. Yvonne Jabeng, the children explored six powerful themes: Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Self-control, Air, and Trust in God. These lessons showed them that caring for their bodies and trusting God go hand in hand. With her warm smile and gentle words, Mdm. Yvonne reminded everyone, “All children are prayed for to become wise, healthy, and God’s children until Maranatha.” Her message touched many young hearts and inspired them to make good choices every day.

The program was supported by more than 30 dedicated teachers and helpers, including Jencylia, Puyang Labu, Indira Ajong, MS Flora Winston, Puyang Jaraw, Shemy Daud, Patricia Aca, Payong Sanggir, Rosline Henry, Salma, Jennifer Mike, Eliana Sim, Tunai, Rachel Reda, Shereen, Shirelyn Aida, Patricia, Julinda, Betty Seraw, Denise, Celia Unggun, Merina, Elizabeth, Johnical Belawan, Hezron, Anastashia, MS. Chalagi, Nowie Senaga, and Chermi Sigan. Their love, patience, and creativity made the program more enjoyable through singing, storytelling, and interactive activities.

The event brought together children from many places including Bintulu, Setulan, Seterus, Semanok, Samarakan, Bukit Batu, Tatau, Batu Bom, Biban, Engkeranji, Stusur, Pasir Nangka, Biban, Tekalit, Andau Arip, Ulu Arip, Gerenjang, Bukit Tabau, Daerah Tatau, Daerah Luar Bandar Bintulu, Daerah Arip and Sebauh. Though they came from different towns and villages, they became like one big family, learning side by side and building new friendships. For many, it was a chance to meet other young believers and realize that they are part of something bigger, God’s worldwide family.

In the end, the Bintulu Region Children Evangelism 2025 was more than just a program; it was a seed-planting journey. Seeds of faith, health, and love for God were planted in the hearts of the children, seeds that will grow as they continue to walk with Him. It was a week to remember, a week that showed that when children are taught in the way of the Lord, they truly shine as lights for the future.
