On August 9, 2025, Sg. Engkeranji Seventh-day Adventist Church held the End It Now program at their church building. The purpose of this special event was to create awareness about the importance of respecting parents and protecting senior citizens from abuse. It was a meaningful day where members and visitors came together to learn, share, and be reminded of God’s call to love and care for one another.

The program was organized by the Women’s Ministries Department with support from the Children’s Ministries Department. It was presented by Mdm. Faridah from the Malaysian Union Mission (MAUM) Women’s and Children’s Ministries and Mdm. Yvonne from the Sarawak Mission (SAK) Women’s and Children’s Ministries. Both speakers encouraged women to be good examples in their families and to live with kindness, respect, and responsibility. Their talks were practical and also touched hearts with spiritual lessons.

Throughout the morning and afternoon, participants listened to inspiring messages and discussed how to apply them in daily life. Many women expressed that the lessons helped them to see more clearly how to show love to their parents and elders. The atmosphere was warm and supportive, as everyone was eager to learn and grow together.
The event was attended by 111 people in total, including 109 members and 2 visitors. The feedback from the participants was very positive. One attendee, Mdm. Noria, shared that she was surprised and happy to see so many women come together in Tatau for this important cause. Her words reflected the joy and encouragement felt by many others who were present.

The End It Now program at Sg. Engkeranji Church left a lasting impression on everyone who attended. It was not only a time of learning but also a time of strengthening relationships within the church family. Most importantly, it reminded the community that showing respect and care for parents and elders is part of living out Christian love in everyday life.
