The dedication service was attended by a delegation from the Sarawak Adventist Mission Office who came to show their support and solidarity with the local church.
On 26 July 2025, A joyous and historic Sabbath was celebrated as members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ibol Muding gathered for the dedication of their newly completed church building. This long-awaited event marked a spiritual milestone for a congregation that has faithfully served the community for over six decades.

The dedication service was attended by a delegation from the Sarawak Adventist Mission Office, led by Pastor Semilee Tajau (President), Dave Keith Mina Ngali (Treasurer), and Pastor Joggery Gelu (Executive Secretary), who came to show their support and solidarity with the local church.
Also gracing the occasion were respected former leaders of the Sarawak Mission. Pastor Edmund Liah, former President, who attended with his wife, and Pastor Attie Gara, former Executive Secretary. Their presence brought warmth and a deep sense of history to the service. Pastor Andrew Ganya, who currently serves as the Ministerial Association Secretary, Field Secretary, and Evangelism/NDR-IEL Director and also the church building coordinator also attended and participated in the celebration.

During the service, Pastor Attie Gara shared a moving reflection on the church’s journey, noting that the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ibol Muding has been actively ministering to the community for 63 years. His message reminded the congregation of God’s faithfulness throughout the decades and the importance of remaining steadfast in mission.
A church dedication is a sacred occasion in which a newly built or renovated church is formally consecrated and set apart for God’s work. It serves as a spiritual commitment to use the space for worship, discipleship, community service, and gospel outreach. The congregation joined in dedicatory prayers, music, and thanksgiving, lifting their hearts in praise for the gift of a new house of worship.

Throughout the years, many dedicated pastors have served the Ibol Muding church, guiding its spiritual growth and mission. The dedication also served as a tribute to their tireless efforts and a recommitment to continue building on the foundation they laid. Among those who have pastored the church are Pastor Jaulin, Pastor Morris Ulat, Pastor Lawrence Randig, Pastor Gilbert Tan Wee Thuang, Pastor Sipok Sagong, Pastor Dindal, Pastor Megau Jeng, Pastor Andrew Ganya, Pastor Achoh, Pastor Albert Numpang, Pastor Petrus Tundur, Pastor Jebeni Keli, Pastor Denver Tuan, and Pastor Tajan Kanyo.

The service concluded with a joyful potbless fellowship, where guests and members shared food, stories, and gratitude. The atmosphere was filled with unity, love, and renewed hope as the church family celebrated this new chapter in their faith journey.
The dedication of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ibol Muding stands not only as a physical achievement but also as a spiritual testimony of endurance, faith, and God’s unwavering guidance. With hearts full of joy, the church looks forward to the future, committed to being a light in their village and a witness to God’s love.
