The meeting focused on reviewing reports from 2022 to 2024, which were led by Church Leaders and Mission Departmental Directors.
The Sarawak Mission held its Strategic Planning Meeting for 2025–2026 on March 23, 2025, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Batu Kawa. The meeting brought together church leaders, mission workers, and delegates from various institutions to review past mission efforts, discuss future plans, and strengthen the church’s initiatives. It served as an important platform for evaluating progress and setting new goals for the next two years, ensuring the continuous growth of the church’s mission work.

The meeting focused on reviewing reports from 2022 to 2024, which were led by church leaders and mission departmental directors, including the President’s Report, Secretary’s Report, Treasurer’s Report, and Mission Program Reports led by department directors. These reports highlighted achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement in the church’s mission programs. Additionally, the discussion emphasized Total Member Involvement, encouraging every church member to actively participate in mission work, community outreach, and evangelism.

Delegates from various institutions and church groups were recognized for their contributions to the church’s mission. Among those acknowledged were church delegates from across Sarawak, Mission School institutions, representatives from Ayer Manis, Sunny Hill, Sunny Ice Cream, Sarawak Mission Executive Committee, Sarawak Mission Staff, and Ayer Manis Administrative Team. Special appreciation was also given to church pastors, young missionaries, retired pastors, current pastors, and mission workers for their dedication and commitment to spreading the gospel.

Several distinguished guests attended the event, including Pr. Nelson Bendah, Executive Secretary of the Malaysia Union Mission, along with the President of Seventh-day Adventist Sarawak Mission, Pr. Semilee Tajau, Sarawak Mission Executive Secretary, Pr. Joggery Gelu, Sarawak Mission Treasurer, Mr. Dave Keith Mina. Their presence provided valuable insights and guidance in shaping the direction of the church’s mission work. Their leadership and experience contributed to meaningful discussions and strategic planning for the coming years. A total of 315 participants, including delegates from various churches and mission workers, attended the meeting. The initiative’s overarching goal is to mobilize Total Member Involvement (TMI) in spreading the gospel of hope and salvation in order to reap the reward of a harvest of souls.

The Strategic Planning Meeting served as a crucial step in strengthening the mission and vision of the Sarawak Mission. Through collaboration, prayer, and dedication, church leaders and members committed to working together in advancing the gospel and serving their communities. As the church concluded its planning for the future, the event inspired renewed faith, unity, and a deeper commitment to fulfilling God’s mission.
